As for the required documents for application:

1) What documents shall we provide?
a. Name, address, nationality of the applicant
b. Sample of mark (min .5x5 cm)
c. List of goods/ services in accordance with Nice agreement
d. Power of Attorney simply signed
e. Priority document
f. Home registration or activity certificate or extract from commercial register

2) Which of them is required to be notarized and/ or legalized?
None of them is need to notarized or legalized

3) Can we send you all required document by email? Or, we have to send the originals by airmail?
You can send us all required document by email.

4) If the trademark contains some Chinese Characters, do we have to provide its transliteration and translations?
Translation will be good for our search. No need to transliteration if you will use the Chinese version.

As for the procedure:

1) If we�d like to conduct a search first, how long will it take?
Unofficial search is one day and free of charge Official one is one week and charged

2) Does one application contain several classes for the same trademark or not?
Yes it can contain several classes

3) After we file the application, when can we get the application number and the application date?
Off course you will get the application number and application date

4) Will there be an Official Filing Receipt or a Notice of Acceptance of Application issued by your government? If so, when can we receive it after filing?
Yes there is an official receipt. We usually receive the notice one month from the application and we will fax it at same day.

5) In China, during the process of examination, the examinator will conduct a substantive examination when the formal examination is finished. We wonder whether the examinators in your country would conduct both examinations or they just conduct the formal examination.

6) How long does the period of Publication last?
It longs 3 months after the examination.

7) Without any office action or opposition. how long does it take from filing the application to obtaining the certificate?
11-12 months

8) How many goods can be designated in one application without any extra cost?
If you mean classes for goods and services you have to pay for each class.

9) We�d like to be informed whether the term of validity takes effect from the date of application or the date of registration?
The term of validity takes effect from the date of application

10) Please kindly advise us the validity period of trademark right.
If there is no opposition or refusal in validity period you can use your mark as registered. I mean you can use your mark as a registered one until an opposition or refusal in the validity period.

11) What is basement for obtaining trademark right? Is it based on usage or on application?
Mainly application is based. If you will not use five year after registration there will be opposition from the third parties but it is a weak opposition for lapse of trademark.

12) What is kind of Classification your country applies? Nice Classification or yours?
Nice Classification.

13)For renewal, when could we apply for it? How long will the grace periods last?
Every 10 year from the registration you have to renew your registration. If you miss the period there is a surcharge for six months. After this 6 months it will be abandoned

14)We used to require our partnership to file the application before the arrival of POA, in this case, will you charge us for later filing document?
There is no extra fee for late submission of POA until registration date. If you will not submit the POA for registration it will abandoned

15) As far as we know, in some countries, registered company name or business name will affect registration of trademark mark. Therefore, we wonder it is the case in your country.
If they are not registered their name as trademark in Turkish Patent Institute, They have no right to affect you. The based point is registration.
